What you will do
- Scout new manufacturing technologies and benchmark suitable machines.
- Manage the full process lifecycle from installation and commissioning through optimization and quality control.
- Operate and improve a prototyping shop using milling, turning, grinding, CNC machining, and additive manufacturing.
- Support machine operators with technical challenges and maintain efficient shop operations.
- Manage machine selection, CAD/CAM integration, and data acquisition to improve quality, lead times, and process efficiency.
- Collaborate with operators, designers, and engineers in a 20-person prototyping and engineering services team.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong knowledge of conventional machining and/or additive manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of quality management principles, CAD/CAM software suites, and data acquisition systems.
- Fluent Dutch and English communication skills, both spoken and written.
- Hands-on, creative, critical, independent, and reliable approach with strong organization, accuracy, cost awareness, and innovation.
- Ability to work on-site at the production facility in Wilrijk, Antwerp, Belgium.

- Knowledge of German.
- Experience with prototyping and continuous improvement.
