Electrical Supervisor (Pharmaceutical Construction)

What you will do

• Supervise contractors’ daily site activities and ensure compliance with safety, quality, schedule, cost, and documentation requirements.
• Promote construction safety, review method statements and permit applications, conduct audits, and intervene in unsafe situations.
• Coordinate contractor activities, workface planning, lookahead schedules, meetings, and interfaces with other construction stakeholders.
• Carry out inspections, witness tests, review quality documentation, track RFIs and submittals, and manage deviations from approved documentation.
• Support system walkdowns, punch-list management, construction close-out, testing, commissioning, and turnover to the client or C&Q team.
• Review field variations, claims, additional costs, manpower loading, and contractor performance against the agreed scope.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of relevant construction-sector experience.
• Degree-level education or a very strong trades background.
• Previous experience in life sciences, mission-critical, or industrial projects is essential.
• Excellent reporting and communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Gent, Belgium.
