Manager, Government and Community Affairs, Project Ranger (Aerospace)

Location: Rio Rancho, New Mexico, United States; regional scope includes Sandoval County, Albuquerque, and the broader New Mexico stakeholder community.

What you will do

• Develop and execute Project Ranger's regional external affairs strategy across New Mexico.
• Build relationships with elected officials, local governments, economic development organizations, business groups, civic organizations, and community leaders.
• Represent hirify.global and Project Ranger externally, explaining the mission, facility impact, and contribution to the U.S. defense industrial base.
• Lead partnerships with workforce development organizations, technical schools, colleges, universities, veteran programs, and training providers.
• Plan site visits, briefings, community events, facility tours, stakeholder engagements, and local media opportunities.
• Monitor community sentiment, media coverage, political developments, and emerging reputational, workforce, or operational risks.

Requirements

• Experience operating across public affairs, community engagement, economic development, workforce development, and local government relations.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with government, education, business, military, veteran, STEM, and manufacturing stakeholders.
• Ability to coordinate with Recruiting, Operations, and Communications teams and align external messaging with site realities.
• Ability to prepare briefing materials, talking points, stakeholder maps, engagement plans, and leadership readouts.
• Access to export-controlled information requires the ability to satisfy applicable U.S. export-control requirements without additional licensing.
• The role may require access to classified information or restricted U.S. Government sites and may therefore require a security clearance or other government authorization.
