Workshop Service Technician (f/m/d) (Vacuum Pumps)

What you will do

• Perform maintenance and repair of vacuum pumps and returned equipment.
• Disassemble, inspect, clean, diagnose, replace spare parts, reassemble, and test products.
• Carry out repair, maintenance, and calibration services in line with KPIs and service standards.
• Complete service documentation and maintain accurate work-order records.
• Maintain service quality, turnaround time, workplace efficiency, and 5S standards.
• Manage assigned tools and equipment responsibly while meeting customer expectations.

Requirements

• Qualification such as a BTEC in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience in mechanical assembly, vacuum pump servicing, or equipment repair.
• Solid mechanical knowledge and basic measuring and calibration skills.
• Basic verbal and written English required.
• Basic electrical knowledge, IT affinity, and general knowledge of data processing, analysis, and interpretation.
• Good interpersonal skills; approximately three years of manufacturing experience is desirable but not essential.
