What you will do
- Administer multiple U.S. Government and Department of Defense contracts from award through completion and closeout.
- Act as the primary contractual interface with Government Contracting Officers, Contract Specialists, DCMA, DCAA, and other acquisition stakeholders.
- Review and negotiate contracts, Other Transaction Agreements, task orders, modifications, solicitations, and related agreements.
- Coordinate proposal development, compliance matrices, assumptions, certifications, and business volumes across program management, engineering, finance, legal, supply chain, and business development.
- Track funding, CLINs, periods of performance, deliverables, options, invoicing, and other contractual milestones.
- Build scalable contracting processes, templates, tools, and playbooks while identifying and resolving contractual risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience in U.S. Government contract administration, contract management, acquisition, or a related field.
- Experience administering Department of Defense contracts or agreements and interpreting government solicitations, contracts, modifications, and contractual requirements.
- Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement.
- Experience supporting proposal development and contract negotiations, with the ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance; access to classified or export-controlled information may require additional U.S. Government eligibility.
Nice to have
- 7+ years of government contracts experience in aerospace, defense, advanced manufacturing, or another technically complex industry.
- Experience with weapon systems, aerospace systems, missiles, spacecraft, complex hardware development, production, flight testing, or operational fielding.
- Experience with FAR-based contracts, Other Transaction Agreements, fixed-price, cost-reimbursement, time-and-materials, and IDIQ structures.
- Knowledge of government intellectual property, technical data rights, CDRLs, DD Form 1423, SBIR/STTR programs, and classified programs.
- NCMA, CPCM, CFCM, MBA, JD, or another relevant advanced degree or certification; active Secret, Top Secret, or TS/SCI clearance.
