TL;DR
Customer Success Intern (Storage Technology): Supporting customer engagement, storage product qualification, technical issue analysis, and on-site service activities across East China with an accent on HDD, SSD, RAID, failure-log analysis, and customer-facing engineering. Focus on coordinating cross-functional resolution of customer issues, tracking qualification tests, preparing technical materials, and researching cloud, edge, and AI/ML storage applications.
Location: Shanghai, China; travel up to 10%; the role includes customer visits, technical workshops, marketing events, and on-site support activities across East China.

What you will do
- Support customer engagement activities for channel partners, distributors, and key end customers across East China.
- Track customer issues, analyze drive logs, support on-site failure verification, and coordinate follow-up actions.
- Support product qualification through schedule coordination, test tracking, issue investigation, and resolution management.
- Prepare customer presentations, technical reports, and marketing-related technical materials.
- Coordinate with Marketing, CQE, ASE, and other cross-functional teams to address customer requirements.
- Research emerging storage technologies and industry trends while supporting customer projects and business growth initiatives.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, English, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills in both Mandarin and English are required.
- Strong interest in customer-facing engineering, market and technology insights, self-motivation, and teamwork.
- Proficiency with tools for statistical data analysis, reporting, and presentation preparation.
- Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools.
- Experience supporting customers in a technical environment and coordinating across teams.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with HDD, SSD, RAID, diagnostic tools, SMART, telemetry, or failure logs.
- Experience with Python, C/C++, or Shell.
- Knowledge of cloud storage, edge computing, or AI/ML applications in storage.
- Leadership experience through student organizations, technical competitions, or project teams.
