Senior Technical Account Manager (Fintech)

What you will do

• Own the technical relationship for a portfolio of strategic enterprise clients.
• Provide technical guidance, elevated support, and post-launch assistance across Airwallex payment products.
• Build trusted client relationships and become a subject matter expert on each customer’s business.
• Partner with account managers to identify optimization and upsell opportunities.
• Handle escalations, break-fix support, and ad hoc technical questions.
• Support quarterly business reviews with product roadmap updates and technical performance metrics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with strong academic performance.
• At least 5 years of experience in engineering, technical support, or technical account management.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and API architecture.
• Proactive, consultative approach to customer and sales-team requests, with the ability to manage changing priorities.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills, including presentations to decision-makers.
• Ability to work from Shanghai, China.

• Knowledge of payments or financial services.
• Experience analyzing transaction data to drive improvements.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs into web applications.
