Location: Remote from South Africa or Kenya; working hours aligned with U.S. Business Hours

hirify.global is hiring for a client seeking an SEO specialist to grow organic traffic, improve search visibility, and strengthen website performance.

What you will do

  • Conduct keyword research and build SEO strategies based on search intent, funnel stages, ranking opportunities, content gaps, and competitor analysis.
  • Optimize on-page elements, content, internal linking, URLs, images, schema markup, and structured data.
  • Run technical SEO audits and address crawl errors, indexing problems, broken links, duplicate content, redirects, canonicalization, sitemaps, and robots.txt issues.
  • Improve Core Web Vitals, page speed, mobile performance, and crawlability while coordinating implementation with developers.
  • Develop ethical link-building strategies, monitor backlink quality, and support backlink cleanup or disavowal.
  • Track rankings, traffic, conversions, and search performance; build dashboards and prepare weekly and monthly reports with recommendations.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of professional SEO experience.
  • Hands-on experience with SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
  • Strong knowledge of technical, on-page, and off-page SEO, keyword research, search intent, and link building.
  • Experience with CMS platforms such as WordPress, Webflow, or Shopify.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work remotely from South Africa or Kenya during U.S. Business Hours.

Nice to have

  • Success ranking competitive keywords and advanced technical SEO audit experience.
  • Knowledge of schema markup, structured data, and international or multilingual SEO.
  • Experience with SaaS, e-commerce, or content-driven businesses.
  • Basic HTML and CSS knowledge.
