Senior Controller (Fund Accounting): Overseeing financial reporting, NAV calculations, fund administration, forecasting, and operational support for real estate and private credit investment funds with an accent on fund structures, valuations, regulatory compliance, and capital activity. Focus on reviewing high-risk financial components, coordinating audits and tax reporting, managing liquidity and credit facilities, and supporting investment-level due diligence and strategic analysis.
Location: Luxembourg, Luxembourg; hybrid work with at least four full days each week in the advertised office

What you will do
- Manage relationships with third-party fund administrators and oversee financial reporting packages, NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, and investor reporting.
- Review and approve fund-level financial statements, valuations, management fees, incentive fees, capital flows, and performance return inputs.
- Monitor compliance with fund governing documents and maintain accounting policies under GAAP, IFRS, and other applicable standards.
- Support fund operations through forecasting, budgeting, scenario analysis, liquidity management, credit facility monitoring, and capital activity coordination.
- Lead investment-level financial and tax due diligence, structuring, transaction fund flows, and instrument terms with external advisers.
- Coordinate audits, tax reporting, investor RFPs and DDQs, and cross-functional work with investment, portfolio, legal, compliance, and investor relations teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or chartered accountant qualification is preferred.
- Experience in a Senior Controller or fund accounting role.
- Strong understanding of institutional real estate investment structures, including open-end and closed-end funds, REITs, joint ventures, and operating companies.
- Experience managing fund administrators and external service providers.
- Ability to assess materiality and risk, manage multiple fund structures and reporting timelines, and communicate effectively.
