Fund Controller

Location: Luxembourg. Applicants must already have the right to work in Luxembourg without current or future sponsorship.

What you will do

• Manage fund accounting, valuation, structuring, and operational processes for several Luxembourg funds.
• Support corporate and fund financial reporting, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
• Participate in new fund structuring and onboarding of new strategies.
• Manage liquidity, capital structure, capital calls, distributions, expense payments, deal funding, and cash projections.
• Prepare valuation committee materials, interim and annual financial statements, and monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports.
• Oversee fund administrators, depositaries, external evaluators, auditors, tax providers, and other service providers.

Requirements

• Fluent English required.
• Qualified accountant with ACCA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent certification.
• Typically 10–12 years of post-qualification fund accounting experience, preferably in a Big Four private equity department or as a financial director within an AIFM.
• Knowledge of Lux GAAP; familiarity with IFRS and US GAAP is welcome.
• Strong organization, professional judgment, discretion, integrity, and ability to work independently with multiple internal stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with finance and non-finance teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with ELTIF and evergreen products with a monthly NAV cycle.
• Experience supporting high-growth, multi-asset AIFM platforms.
