Test & Validation Senior Associate Engineer (Hydraulics)

Location: On-site in Cienega de Flores, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. Monday through Saturday, 6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; availability to rotate shifts is required. Approximately 10% domestic and international travel. Relocation is not available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do

• Perform statistical process control validation of finished hydraulic products against defined quality requirements.
• Evaluate master parts, production behavior, machine capability, process reliability, and test-machine performance.
• Review test-machine functionality and identify conditions that may affect test reliability or production output.
• Provide technical support to Production and collaborate with Manufacturing and Maintenance to diagnose and resolve machine issues.
• Apply hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, electrical, and electronic knowledge to troubleshoot test equipment.
• Improve testing procedures and operations to increase reliability, efficiency, cost effectiveness, and product quality.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of Visual Basic, Python, C++, or similar programming languages.
• Practical exposure to hydraulic manufacturing, automated test systems, or statistical process control.
• Experience documenting test processes and results, analyzing defect-tracking information, and developing testing procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical problems using diagnostic guides, tools, and standard procedures.
• Conversational English required for technical communication with suppliers and customers, machine reviews, and occasional travel.

• Experience analyzing machine behavior and supporting cross-functional problem resolution in a manufacturing environment.
• Availability for occasional customer visits and machine reviews with suppliers.
