Operational Test Technician I (Electrical Testing)

What you will do

• Perform and document operational tests to verify equipment functionality against technical documentation, customer specifications, and applicable standards.
• Conduct continuity, insulation, Hi-Pot, and mechanical tests on electrical panels and related equipment.
• Validate panel construction against customer and special specifications.
• Record deviations, coordinate their clarification and correction, and provide constructive feedback to production.
• Train and mentor team members and recommend updates to work instructions.
• Identify, measure, improve, and analyze testing-area performance and efficiency.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or technical qualification in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or a related discipline.
• Basic English required, including the ability to read drawings.
• Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
• Ability to learn new skills, assume responsibilities, work independently, and collaborate with a team.
• Satisfactory background check and negative drug test results.

Nice to have

• Experience with Windows OS and Microsoft Office.
• Experience executing tests on electrical panels.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plating materials.
• Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, and functional diagrams.
• Knowledge of quality tools and standards and 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
