Staff TDI Site Reliability Engineer (AWS)

Location: Washington, DC; employee must be on U.S. soil. Hybrid work is indicated by the posting.

Salary: $174,000–$239,000 USD annual base salary, with potential equity, bonus, and benefits.

What you will do

• Operate and maintain enterprise-grade solutions in air-gapped environments.
• Build, run, and monitor development tools, infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines without internet connectivity.
• Design and implement secure, cloud-based engineering enablement systems.
• Maintain SLOs and SLIs without external monitoring or SaaS tooling.
• Own runbooks, incident response procedures, POA&M remediation, and Authority to Operate activities.
• Support mission-critical services and promote SRE and DevOps practices across engineering teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, Cloud Automation Engineer, or Systems Engineer.
• Experience delivering complex infrastructure projects at scale and working with EKS, ECS Fargate, and container runtimes.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Python automation using secure software development practices.
• Experience with Splunk, CloudWatch, Grafana, BGP, IPsec, AWS VPCs, transit gateways, and VPC endpoints.
• Active U.S. TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph required.
• Must be on U.S. soil and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret or Top Secret security clearance. Drug testing may apply under U.S. Government contracts.
