Senior SysOps Engineer

Location: Remote within UA/EU

Company

Operate and modernize a high-traffic web platform handling tens of millions of requests per day and a data pipeline processing more than 50 million user events daily.

What you will do

• Maintain, manage, and improve self-managed infrastructure across two datacenters.
• Troubleshoot critical platform components, including Elasticsearch, Redis, FreeBSD, and database replication.
• Maintain and update incident runbooks for on-call teams.
• Automate system tasks and reduce repetitive manual work.
• Document and optimize deployment processes.
• Develop high-availability solutions for branded domains, database failover, and infrastructure scaling.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a SysOps Engineer, Infrastructure Engineer, or in a similar role.
• Strong expertise with FreeBSD, Linux, Jail, Docker, and ZFS optimization.
• Experience with MariaDB/MySQL replication, Redis Sentinel, Elasticsearch clusters, web servers, Cloudflare, and DNS management.
• Knowledge of networking, packet filtering, security, Supervisord, Beanstalkd, and RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency in Bash, Python, PHP, or similar scripting languages.
• English at B2 level or higher is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-load multi-source database replication, Orchestrator, and ProxySQL.
• Knowledge of high-load infrastructure solutions and best practices.
