Senior Golang Engineer (AI)

Location: Ukraine; remote or office work

Company

Work with a leading GPU cloud and AI infrastructure platform through hirify.global, contributing to large-scale distributed production systems.

What you will do

• Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex production issues across APIs, control plane services, and web applications.
• Own bug resolution from root-cause analysis through implementation, improving consistency, accuracy, performance, and reliability.
• Develop and enhance Go services operating across a fleet of more than 5,000 machines.
• Collaborate with client engineers, infrastructure specialists, and observability stakeholders on sustainable solutions.
• Increase test coverage for services interacting with operating system components and external commands.
• Modernize the Terraform provider and expand support across the platform API.

Requirements

• 5+ years of production experience with Go.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving complex issues in live production systems.
• Practical knowledge of concurrency patterns, context management, and scalable distributed-system design.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals in distributed and multi-region infrastructure environments.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills when working with client-side engineers and stakeholders.
• Good English proficiency for communication in a global environment.

Nice to have

• Systems-level engineering experience in distributed environments.
• Knowledge of Linux processes, namespaces, cgroups, and container runtime behavior.
• Experience identifying high-impact improvements in codebases with technical debt.
