TL;DR
Inbound Operations Manager (Logistics): Building and scaling inbound operations for a new fulfillment center with an accent on receiving, put-away, stock availability, team leadership, and automated systems. Focus on leading Area Managers, analyzing operational KPIs, solving live cross-functional challenges, and implementing standardized processes in a high-volume warehouse environment.

Location: On-site in Opatovice nad Labem, Czech Republic. Regular Monday–Friday business hours with occasional Saturdays, weekends, and holidays to support operational needs.

What you will do

  • Lead inbound shift operations, including receiving, put-away, stock availability, safety, and labor management.
  • Coach, mentor, and scale a team of Area Managers while ensuring staffing, skills, and operational readiness.
  • Collaborate with Automation, OpEx, HR, IT, and Transport teams to resolve live operational challenges.
  • Monitor inbound KPIs, perform root-cause analyses, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Implement new processes, tools, automated systems, standards, and best practices across inbound operations.
  • Support peak-period operations and help teams adopt new ways of working in the new fulfillment center.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in inbound operations, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing management.
  • Experience managing teams of 50 or more people in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong analytical, data-driven, problem-solving, communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
  • High school leaving exam such as Abitur or Matura, or higher education.
  • Proficiency in English and at least conversational-level Czech required.
  • Availability for on-site work in Opatovice nad Labem and occasional Saturday, weekend, and holiday support.

Nice to have

  • University degree or MBA in a related field.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with WMS tools and high-volume automated receiving or inbound operations.
