Advanced Software Engineer (Scrum Master) (Java)

Location: Changzhou, Jiangsu, China; onsite

What you will do

• Implement, verify, maintain, and improve software according to technical specifications.
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical support to production, service teams, and third-party software partners.
• Facilitate Scrum events, including daily stand-ups, iteration planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Help the Product Owner manage the backlog and guide prioritization and scope decisions.
• Improve team quality, predictability, flow, velocity, communication, and accountability.
• Coordinate cooperation with other Scrum teams, system teams, architecture, UX, shared services, and ART activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
• 5+ years of Java programming experience with strong multithreading skills.
• At least 2 years of project management or Scrum Master experience in software product development.
• Knowledge of relational databases, including database performance tuning, index and SQL optimization, sharding, and transaction optimization.
• Experience with Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, distributed systems, Redis, message queues, and load balancing technologies such as Nginx.
• Good written and spoken English, including presentation skills, and the ability to work under pressure.

Nice to have

• PMP, IPMP, CSM, ACP, SSM, A-CSM, or SASM certification.
• Experience handling massive datasets or working with ActiveMQ.
