Partner Solutions Architect (Data & AI)

What you will do

• Enable consulting and system integrator partners to evaluate and adopt the Databricks platform.
• Develop technical champions within top partner organizations.
• Lead workshops, seminars, and meet-ups for the partner technical community.
• Advise on big data analytics architecture and design.
• Create technical solutions and publish technical blog content.
• Help customers achieve data-driven outcomes and integrate Databricks into enterprise ecosystems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of pre-sales or post-sales experience with external clients or partners.
• Customer-facing pre-sales or consulting experience with strength in data engineering or data science.
• Experience presenting technical concepts, leading demonstrations, and whiteboarding.
• Experience designing and implementing architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Coding experience with SQL, Python, Scala, or Java.
• Full professional proficiency in Japanese is mandatory. Business-level English proficiency is preferred.

Nice to have

• Expertise in data engineering technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
• Experience with data warehousing, including OLTP, OLAP, or DSS.
• Experience with data science and machine learning technologies such as pandas, scikit-learn, or HPO.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
