Data Analyst (Financial Services)

Location: Gdańsk, Łódź, or Warsaw, Poland; hybrid model with 25% remote work

Salary: Up to 130 PLN/h net + VAT on a B2B basis

What you will do

• Support the critical Global Know Your Customer (GKYC) program through data analytics, design, and development.
• Work with IT, Architecture, Financial Crime, Compliance, Legal, and business stakeholders to implement changes.
• Analyze data and develop small data models using data taxonomy principles.
• Produce clear, actionable reports in Power BI.
• Deliver accurate, structured work in a fast-paced project environment with changing priorities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in data management, data quality, or a related role, preferably in financial services.
• Advanced SQL and experience with Python, R, Java, and Scala.
• Experience with Power BI, data taxonomy, and small data models.
• Background in financial crime, including AML/CTF, KYC, transaction monitoring, and sanctions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Fluent English in speaking and writing is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of data governance frameworks and methodologies.
• Experience with data migration and data integration projects.
