AI & Automation Intern (AI)

Location: Denver, Colorado; hybrid work with required in-person commuting to the designated work location

Salary: $20.90–$22.10 per hour

What you will do

• Develop AI agents to automate administrative tasks.
• Build AI agents and system automation to track and update internal systems.
• Develop tools to review, polish, and improve written documents and presentations.
• Update and refine existing agents to improve their functionality.
• Support research, operational planning, external filings, and internal process improvement for the PSCo Regulatory team.

Requirements

• Current college or university student at junior level or higher as of Fall 2027.
• Enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing a degree in data science, information systems, or project management.
• Able to work full-time during the summer, up to 40 hours per week, and part-time during the school year, up to 20 hours per week.
• Able to commute to the designated work location in person under the hybrid work policy.
• Internship start date: May 31, 2027.

Nice to have

• Experience creating, editing, and designing AI or automation tools using Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar programs.
