Training Coordinator Intern (Energy Operations)

Location: Golden, Colorado, United States; hybrid work with required in-person commuting

Salary: $19.00–$21.00 per hour

Provides electricity and natural gas products and services to customers across eight Western and Midwestern states.

What you will do

• Support the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of training programs for transmission system and balancing authority operators.
• Maintain training records, documentation, and compliance tracking.
• Develop simulator scenarios reflecting events in the Energy Management System.
• Capture and edit training video content.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop courses through the ADDIE lifecycle.
• Support program reviews and systematic training activities in a real-time operations environment.

Requirements

• Current freshman-level student or higher, enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Pursuing a degree in Business, Training and Development, Human Resource Development, or a similar field.
• Able to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer and up to 20 hours per week during the school year.
• Able to commute to the designated work location in person under the hybrid work policy.
