Nuclear Reactor Engineer Intern - MN

Location: Welch, Minnesota, United States. Hybrid work policy with required in-person commuting to the designated work location; full-time during summer and part-time during the school year.

Salary: $23.10–$24.60 per hour.

What you will do

• Monitor nuclear reactor cores and review daily reactor and plant trend data.
• Analyze reactor data and support improvements to core and nuclear fuel monitoring.
• Generate procedure change requests for reactor engineering procedures.
• Assist with receiving new nuclear fuel.
• Improve and automate data collection and analysis for reactor core components and thermal limits.

Requirements

• Current junior-level student or higher enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Pursuing a degree in Nuclear Engineering.
• Available to work in person in Welch, Minnesota.
• Able to work up to 40 hours per week during the summer and up to 20 hours per week during the school year.
