Transmission Line Engineering Intern (Energy)

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States; in-person commuting to the 414 Nicollet Mall office under a hybrid work policy

Salary: $23.10–$24.60 per hour

What you will do

• Support civil and electrical engineers with the design and maintenance of high-voltage transmission systems.
• Complete detailed engineering designs and reviews using design software.
• Perform structural analysis and foundation analysis.
• Conduct electrical clearance analysis.
• Provide material support and travel to local job sites as needed.

Requirements

• Current college or university student at junior level or higher.
• Enrolled in an accredited program pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering.
• Ability to travel to local job sites.
• Able to work in person at the designated Minneapolis location and work full-time during the summer, up to 40 hours per week.
• Available to start May 24, 2027.
