Staff Embedded Software Engineer (C/C++)

Location: Shanghai, China. Right to work in China is required.

What you will do

• Develop embedded software for data center solutions.
• Design and implement software for embedded devices and systems from requirements through production and commercial deployment.
• Define software requirements and technical specifications while supporting new silicon feature development and validation.
• Develop and maintain device drivers and upper-layer software stacks.
• Collaborate with design and validation teams to ensure software quality.
• Debug and troubleshoot software issues and follow advances in embedded software development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering.
• 7+ years of embedded systems software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in C, C++, and Python.
• Strong knowledge of embedded systems, embedded Linux, and real-time operating systems.
• Experience with communication protocols including USB, SPI, I2C, and UART, plus device driver development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese; right to work in China is required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Verilog.
• Experience with OpenBMC development.
