Complex Fraud Analyst

Location: NSW, Australia; hybrid arrangement with three days in the office and two days remote or from home

What you will do

• Investigate and analyse customer, subscription, and network fraud incidents.
• Monitor high-risk activity and identify emerging fraud trends.
• Analyse large datasets to uncover risks and support fraud prevention strategies.
• Partner with stakeholders to investigate, resolve, and remediate fraud issues.
• Recommend improvements to fraud controls and processes.
• Prepare insights, reports, and findings for management and senior leaders while supporting fraud awareness initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience in fraud, risk, investigations, or analytical roles.
• Strong data analysis skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Ability to identify trends, investigate complex issues, and provide recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management capabilities.
• Proactive, detail-oriented, adaptable, and collaborative approach.
