What you will do

• Provide specialist technical support for complex network security operations across UK secure contracts.
• Engineer and support firewall, network security, and load-balancing configurations for customer projects.
• Lead Agile and ITIL processes and make technical decisions within the security team.
• Advise colleagues on engineering best practices and provide third-line lead support.
• Mentor peers and colleagues while building strong relationships with customers, vendors, Product, Engineering, and other teams.
• Produce policies, functions, documentation, service maps, user flows, and wireframes, and facilitate workshops and design sprints.

Requirements

• Minimum CCNP certification or equivalent.
• Firewall engineering experience with Fortinet, Cisco ASA, ISE and FirePower, Palo Alto, Check Point, and Zscaler.
• Experience with F5 load balancers and knowledge of TCP/IP, the OSI seven-layer model, and data network operation.
• Knowledge of engineering best practices and continuous delivery.
• Maintain the required MPS, NPPV3, and SC security clearances.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, leadership, and mentoring skills.
