Senior Piping Engineer (Offshore FEED)

Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates; the role is based in Abu Dhabi and supports an ADNOC Offshore PMC project.

What you will do

• Execute and coordinate piping engineering and design activities for offshore FEED projects.
• Develop and review piping design bases, material specifications, pipe classes, layouts, plot plans, line lists, valve specifications, material requisitions, and material take-offs.
• Develop FEED deliverables, including piping philosophies, design criteria, layout studies, tie-in packages, constructability reviews, and engineering reports.
• Optimize piping routing for offshore space constraints, equipment access, maintenance, safety, escape routes, modularization, and weight.
• Coordinate piping interfaces with process, mechanical, structural, civil, electrical, instrumentation, pipeline, HSE, vendors, licensors, EPC contractors, and ADNOC Offshore.
• Support vendor package reviews, technical bid evaluations, HAZID and HAZOP activities, model reviews, brownfield modifications, tie-ins, and offshore site surveys.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent engineering discipline.
• At least 15 years of piping engineering experience in Oil & Gas projects.
• At least 5 years of ADNOC Offshore project experience.
• Proven experience in FEED and detailed engineering for offshore oil and gas facilities.
• Experience with greenfield developments, brownfield modifications, process plant piping, piping materials, and stress analysis coordination.
• Ability to work on a project based in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
