Senior Manager - Investment AI Platform (Market Specialist SME)

What you will do

• Define how the investment platform supports screening, due diligence, data-room handling, investment committee materials, portfolio monitoring, and reporting.
• Create and maintain investment committee memo templates, diligence question sets, decision criteria, scoring frameworks, and peer-benchmarking standards.
• Refine product backlogs with product and engineering teams, resolving scope, behavior, and edge-case questions before development.
• Review AI-generated memos, summaries, comparables, extracted metrics, and monitoring insights for analytical soundness, uncertainty handling, and source accuracy.
• Set standards for citation, traceability, and evaluation of analytical outputs, while identifying and resolving incorrect valuation logic, covenant interpretations, and peer matches.
• Lead investment-domain contributions to product demonstrations, discovery sessions, design-partner relationships, deployments, proposals, and client discussions.

Requirements

• Typically 6+ years of experience in private equity, private credit, growth equity, or an institutional or sovereign investment environment.
• Direct ownership of transactions from sourcing through diligence and investment committee review.
• Experience preparing and defending investment committee materials, including memo authorship, valuation, LBO analysis, and diligence workstreams.
• Working knowledge of data rooms, diligence trackers, peer benchmarking, decision frameworks, and portfolio reporting packs.
• Strong investment judgment, analytical skepticism, and the ability to explain investment reasoning to technical, commercial, and client stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a comparable discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience at a general partner, sovereign wealth fund, or regional institutional investor.
• Experience with investment technology, data, or transformation initiatives.
• CFA or CAIA charter, or active progress toward one.
• Experience across both private equity and private credit workflows.
• Hands-on use or formal evaluation of AI-assisted research, diligence, or document-analysis tools.
