Software Engineer (C#)

Location: Maia, Portugal; the role includes on-site software implementation and integration, with travel expected for around 20% of the time.

What you will do

• Develop front-end components and APIs using C#, ASP.NET, and JavaScript.
• Develop back-end functionality with T-SQL and PL/SQL.
• Configure Warehouse Management System components, including communication drivers, layouts, paths, and storage capacity.
• Test, debug, and implement software for automated warehouses, preferably using test automation tools.
• Integrate the WMS with other systems and equipment through web services, TCP/IP, and DataLink.
• Prepare technical documentation and user manuals, and provide software user support.

Requirements

• College degree in Software Engineering or a similar field.
• Solid programming experience with C# and SQL Server using T-SQL or Oracle using PL/SQL.
• Experience in software testing.
• Fluent English in verbal and written communication.
• Availability to travel for approximately 20% of the time and perform on-site implementation work.
• Proactive, organized, analytical, and results-oriented approach with strong teamwork skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of ASP.NET, JavaScript, CSS, SignalR, JSON, AJAX, and XML.
• Experience with test automation tools.
