Senior Trading Analyst

What you will do

• Monitor daily order flow, routing, and executions across equities and options, identifying anomalies and escalating risks.
• Process and support fixed-income orders, including treasuries, municipals, corporates, and brokered CDs.
• Resolve trade breaks, cancels, rebills, corrections, settlement exceptions, and trade-error documentation.
• Support credit-risk workflows, including margin-call liquidations and enforcement of PDT, Good Faith, and Freeride restrictions.
• Respond to advisor questions about orders, executions, bond pricing, yields, availability, corporate actions, and market events.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering on trading buildouts, testing, and automation of manual desk processes.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in trading operations, trade support, or a trading desk at a broker-dealer or custodian.
• Hands-on experience with order handling, trade breaks, or corrections and working knowledge of equity and options market mechanics.
• FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 required; Series 57 required or must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Strong Excel skills and comfort working with trade data, operational reports, and internal tools.
• High attention to detail, sound judgment, clear communication, and composure in fast-moving markets.
• Willingness to obtain additional registrations, including Series 24, Series 4, or Series 52, as responsibilities grow.

Nice to have

• Exposure to fixed income or margin workflows.
• Experience with OMS platforms such as Sterling, RFQ platforms such as Tradeweb, or clearing platforms such as FIS Phase 3.
• Experience experimenting with AI tools for break triage, analysis, and repetitive work.
