Filling Technician I

What you will do

• Operate, monitor, and control equipment, systems, and processes for vial and cartridge filling.
• Fill insulin and media preparations under aseptic conditions while achieving production goals.
• Maintain aseptic areas through sanitization and environmental monitoring.
• Participate in event response and review production documents and data in batch production records and associated forms.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, restoration of function, and predictive and preventive maintenance.
• Follow safety, environmental, and operational requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least six months of manufacturing experience required; this may be waived for qualifying military experience, BioWorks/BioBlend certification, equivalent accredited college education, or eligible hirify.global contractor experience.
• Ability to read, write, and understand complex product documentation and standard operating procedures with attention to detail.
• Ability to work onsite and remain on your feet for shifts of up to 12 hours.
• Ability to move equipment or supplies weighing up to 33 pounds and operate manufacturing equipment using your hands.
• Ability to work around hazardous materials, loud noise, elevated heights, confined spaces, and potentially cold environments, with required protective equipment.

Nice to have

• Experience in an FDA-regulated environment.
• Aseptic processing experience.
• Computer literacy.
