Maintenance Services Representative (Aerospace)

Location: Lisboa, Portugal; onsite. May require international and domestic travel to other line stations for up to 25% of working time.

What you will do

• Perform maintenance, preventive maintenance, alterations, built-in tests, and manual tests on in-flight entertainment systems installed on aircraft.
• Troubleshoot electronic units, cabling, and seat consoles down to line-replaceable modules.
• Remove and replace defective electronic assemblies, units, modules, and cabling, and modify installed equipment when required.
• Document testing and repairs using computer and bar-coding equipment.
• Prepare parts, assist with spares inventory tracking, and operate airline communications equipment.
• Communicate with customers and operate vehicles on airport property and around aircraft.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of related industry experience preferred, with knowledge of electronics and troubleshooting gained through commercial aviation, military experience, or technical education.
• Appropriate academic or technical qualifications and experience to satisfy regulatory licensing requirements, including FAA A&P criteria.
• Ability to read and follow technical documentation and verbal instructions in English.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet airport authority requirements for access and vehicle operation; ability to pass extensive security and background checks.
