Scientist - Analytical Development, Regeneron Cell Medicines (RCM)

What you will do

• Advance analytical development for cell therapy programs, focusing on lentiviral vectors.
• Strengthen existing and establish new biophysical methods for lentiviral vector characterization.
• Design and perform experiments, analyze complex datasets, and present results to technical and cross-functional audiences.
• Partner with RCM teams to troubleshoot challenges, align priorities, and support program execution.
• Author and review assay protocols, method development reports, and data summaries.
• Maintain electronic laboratory notebook records, support instrument upkeep, and troubleshoot equipment and assays.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biophysics, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field.
• 6–8+ years of experience characterizing and quantitatively analyzing lentiviral vectors.
• Ability to independently design experiments and interpret, document, and communicate results.
• Experience with biophysical characterization techniques for particle sizing and counting, including DLS, MRPS, and fluorescent labeling assays.
• Knowledge of viral vector biology, design, processing, and gene delivery mechanisms.
• Ability to work on-site in a hands-on laboratory environment, including instrument maintenance and routine assay execution.
