Head of Information Security/Compliance

Location: Denver, Colorado, or remote within the United States

Salary: $175,000–$220,000 per year

What you will do

• Own cloud security architecture and security posture on AWS, including IAM design.
• Run hands-on SOC 2 audits against AWS infrastructure.
• Build and mature the security and compliance program for enterprise and healthcare customers.
• Represent security in customer and prospect reviews and present the company’s posture to customers, partners, and the board.
• Partner with Engineering to embed security into product development.
• Build the security and compliance function, including policies, processes, and tooling.

Requirements

• 8–12 years of security or compliance experience.
• Hands-on experience running SOC 2 audits against AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Hands-on IAM architecture experience.
• Cloud security certification(s).
• Experience participating directly in security reviews with prospects or customers.
• Enterprise fluency and the ability to act as a senior security presence with customers, partners, and boards.

Nice to have

• Healthcare or regulated-industry experience.
• Fractional CISO experience at a digital health company.
• Security leadership at a Series B–D health tech company.
• Engineering background with infrastructure or platform depth and compliance ownership.
