Managed Care Credentialing Specialist - Full Time (Healthcare)

Healthcare services holding company operating home health, hospice, personal care, and senior living businesses through independent subsidiaries across the United States.

What you will do

• Manage initial credentialing and re-credentialing for assigned geographic regions.
• Communicate with managed care organizations to verify requirements, submission guidelines, and application status.
• Prepare and submit accurate applications while meeting managed care organization deadlines.
• Coordinate with Legal, Licensing, Accounts Receivable, and Payor Administration to collect and verify information.
• Maintain credentialing document databases and manage the credentialing email inbox.
• Represent agencies and communities professionally and support special contracting projects.

Requirements

• Must work remotely from the USA.
• At least three years of credentialing or healthcare administrative experience.
• Knowledge of credentialing concepts, practices, procedures, compliance requirements, and accreditation standards.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, confidentiality, ethics, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, solve problems, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and Adobe PDF.

Nice to have

• Credentialing experience in home health, hospice, personal care, or senior living.
• Knowledge of managed care health plans in Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama.
