Software Engineering Intern (AI)

Location: On-site in the San Francisco office, United States; 12-week internship with groups running from May 24 to August 13, 2027, or June 14 to September 3, 2027.

What you will do

• Own a meaningful engineering project contributing to the product or engineering infrastructure.
• Build and ship real features alongside experienced engineers.
• Improve search-result quality, ranking, filters, and data sources.
• Apply LLMs and model fine-tuning to make recruiting more effective.
• Improve internal tools, developer experience, testing infrastructure, or new-user experiences.
• Present the completed work at an end-of-summer demo.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or having equivalent skills.
• Experience programming in at least one language and a solid understanding of core computer science concepts.
• Built a project from scratch through coursework, personal work, research, internships, startups, or open source.
• Ability to solve ambiguous problems, learn quickly, take ownership, and seek feedback.
• Ability to work from the San Francisco office for the full 12-week internship.
