Angular Developer

Location: Remote, with preference for candidates in McLean, VA, Chicago, IL, or New York, NY

Pay rate: $85/hour, W2 only

What you will do

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain responsive, scalable web applications using Angular.
• Build reusable Angular components and frontend functionality with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, test, deploy, and support applications and user interfaces.
• Collaborate with developers, technical leads, and cross-functional teams across multiple projects.
• Work within an Agile/Scrum environment and adapt to changing priorities with minimal ramp-up time.

Requirements

• Strong, recent hands-on Angular and TypeScript experience.
• Strong JavaScript, HTML, and CSS skills, with experience building modern responsive web applications.
• Experience developing reusable Angular components and integrating RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Experience with Git or another version control system and Agile/Scrum development.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Recent experience must be primarily focused on Angular development rather than backend, mobile, or general full-stack work.

Nice to have

• RxJS, Angular Material, NgRx, or other state-management frameworks.
• Unit testing with Jasmine, Karma, or Jest.
• CI/CD processes and tools, cloud-based applications, or large enterprise environments.
• Financial services industry experience.
