Location: Bothell, Washington, United States. Approximately 30% travel within the US. Permanent authorization to work in the United States is required; U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available.
Annual base salary: $313,100–$521,900, plus a 35% bonus target and eligibility for a share-based long-term incentive program.

What you will do
- Lead the US Oncology Medical Affairs headquarters and field organization, including more than 35 home-office medical teams and approximately 145 Field Medical Directors.
- Develop and execute the US Medical Affairs strategy and plans across oncology assets, including investigator-sponsored research, data generation, dissemination, and education.
- Collaborate with Global Medical Affairs, clinical development, publications, patient health and impact, commercial, and regional stakeholders.
- Support clinical trial strategy and execution, including investigator-initiated research, real-world evidence, and major clinical programs.
- Provide regional insight into treatment paradigms, competitor activity, unmet medical needs, and product lifecycle planning.
- Build the regional medical budget, manage spending against targets, and develop a high-performing medical affairs organization.
Requirements
- MD or PharmD; oncology specialty strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of pharmaceutical industry experience, including 5+ years in oncology.
- Proven success leading an oncology medical affairs organization and managing multi-level, matrixed teams.
- Strong knowledge of oncology market dynamics, multiple tumor areas, immuno-oncology, clinical trial design, protocol development, safety evaluation, and data analysis.
- Established relationships with oncology key opinion leaders and other external stakeholders.
- Permanent U.S. work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
