What you will do

• Define the end-to-end software architecture for the next-generation 64-bit multiprocessor RISC-V SoC-PIC64.
• Ensure the platform meets strict real-time, performance, security, reliability, and safety requirements.
• Establish coding standards, architectural guidelines, requirements management, and end-to-end traceability.
• Lead architecture forums and technical reviews while mentoring engineering teams.
• Oversee software designs, implementations, lifecycle records, and verification evidence.
• Represent the architecture in customer discussions and collaborate with Marketing and Applications teams on the product roadmap.

Requirements

• Extensive experience architecting high-reliability embedded software platforms from scratch.
• Background in avionics or automotive development, including requirements traceability and evidence-based delivery.
• Strong expertise in RTOS, multiprocessor architectures, and low-level programming with C/C++ and Python.
• Experience mentoring engineering teams and explaining complex technical concepts to customers.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of DO-178C/ED-12C or ISO 26262/ASPICE.
• Hands-on experience with RISC-V architectures and embedded Linux in mixed-workload systems.
• Experience with systems engineering and hardware/software co-development workflows.
• Interest in using AI-assisted tools for development, review, and documentation.
