Senior Python Engineer (Fullstack)

Location: London, hybrid. Work from home is available on Mondays and Fridays; in-office collaboration is expected on the other days.

What you will do

• Build and ship internally facing web applications for Central Operations.
• Develop robust automations that help Operations teams support customers efficiently and at scale.
• Work across lending, cards, and motor finance products to address shared operational challenges.
• Use AI and LLMs to improve operational workflows, including customer-call summarization and complaint processing.
• Own engineering decisions and collaborate with Product, Data Science, Analytics, and Operations stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong Python experience in a web application context, with experience using FastAPI, Django, or Flask; FastAPI is used at hirify.global.
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and a modern framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js; React and Next.js are generally used.
• Strong engineering practices, including design patterns, testing, clean code, and effective code review.
• Previous experience working in a product-focused team.
• Willingness to learn, collaborate, and experiment with Generative AI and LLMs.

Nice to have

• Daily use of AI coding tools such as Copilot, Cursor, or Claude.
• Exposure to Domain-Driven Design, message-driven systems, or event sourcing.
• Experience with AWS, SQL, data schemas, or cloud infrastructure.
• Experience shipping containerized software with Argo, Kubernetes, Docker, or Terraform.
• CSS and Tailwind experience.
