Senior Proposal Manager

Salary: $151,700–$227,600 per year

What you will do

• Lead the full proposal development process from initial RFP analysis through submission.
• Coordinate subject matter experts, writers, managers, and other contributors.
• Develop and maintain proposal schedules, deadlines, and resource plans.
• Write, edit, and review content that translates complex information into clear, compelling proposals.
• Work with Business Development and Operations to clarify requirements and resolve questions.
• Maintain proposal content repositories, templates, and reusable materials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of direct proposal management experience; equivalent experience may substitute for the degree.
• Experience managing complex government bids valued at $100M or more, including at least 3 years in management.
• Demonstrated success delivering compliant, compelling, and winning proposals aligned with capture team direction.
• Experience with the Shipley proposal process or a similar methodology.
• Strong organization, writing, editing, quality assurance, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
