CGT- Biologics HPLC Scientist (Cell & Gene Therapy)

Location: Onsite in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA; candidates must be within a commutable distance. The position is not remote. Full-time, first shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Up to 25% travel may be required.

What you will do

• Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing for viral vectors, cell therapy products, and biologics.
• Assess purity, impurities, infectivity, performance, concentration, and sample safety.
• Perform RP-HPLC, SEC-HPLC, AEX/CEX-HPLC, CE-SDS, and other biochemistry analyses.
• Qualify and validate analytical methods and procedures for in-process materials, drug substances, and final products.
• Maintain accurate records, follow standard operating procedures, and complete time-sensitive laboratory analyses.
• Apply LEAN principles to improve laboratory quality and efficiency while collaborating with the Cell & Gene Therapy team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• Ability to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
• At least three years of GMP and chromatography experience.
• In-depth experience with HPLC, including CAD, fluorescence, and absorbance detectors, and with LC-MS.
• Experience with Empower and 32 Karat.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, prioritization, independent work, and accurate documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with CE-SDS and DLS.
• Experience applying LEAN principles in a laboratory environment.
