Staff AI Security Engineer (Threat Hunting)

Location: Remote within the United States; not eligible for hiring in California, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, or Washington. Occasional travel may be required for project or team meetings.

Salary: $155,520–$194,400, $164,640–$205,800, or $182,960–$228,700 annually, depending on location.

What you will do

• Architect and develop performant security detection tooling, automation, and services.
• Participate in on-call operations, threat modeling, and incident response activities.
• Build AI-assisted threat hunting capabilities and high-fidelity detections for emerging AI threats.
• Develop detection and response roadmaps, programs, and projects with cross-functional partners.
• Research security technologies, review architecture, and simplify complex security problems.
• Mentor teammates and build relationships with internal customers to improve security outcomes.

Requirements

• 3+ years of security engineering experience in a production cloud environment.
• Experience designing and building AI agents and agentic workflows.
• Experience using AI for complex threat hunting and detecting or responding to AI threats using MITRE ATLAS or a similar framework.
• Advanced knowledge of service-oriented architectures and cloud security technologies, with experience in AWS, GCP, or another major cloud platform.
• Experience with SIEM platforms, SOAR tools, security process automation, and infrastructure as code such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience addressing complex security challenges across a technology stack.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
