Technical Writer (IT)

Location: San Antonio, TX, United States; onsite at One hirify.global

What you will do

• Plan, develop, draft, and edit technical documentation for complex enterprise IT systems.
• Create network and infrastructure architecture diagrams, data flow diagrams, process flow diagrams, and operational readiness documents.
• Maintain documentation as features, integrations, and operational procedures change.
• Collaborate with IT and banking departments to understand systems and their integrations.
• Participate in disaster recovery assessments and update system recovery procedures.

Requirements

• 3+ years of technical writing experience in an enterprise IT environment.
• Technical understanding of enterprise software, server platforms, network infrastructure, and SaaS.
• Ability to document and discuss operating systems, virtualization platforms, firewalls, and DMZs.
• Proficiency in Visio and Microsoft applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding and experience with Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Experience in the finance, lending, or banking industry.
