What you will do
- Drive CI regression and review legacy and new Python automation scripts.
- Work with stakeholders to understand requirements and expected behavior for new network platforms.
- Identify, document, and communicate bugs discovered during regression runs.
- File issues with clear descriptions, reproducible steps, and relevant CI details.
- Analyze regression results and improve CI/CD pipeline reliability and efficiency.
- Refine automation scripts and reduce flaky tests to strengthen test stability.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of hands-on experience with Python test automation scripting and framework customization.
- Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, issue-tracking tools such as Jira, and Linux-based operating systems.
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks including pyATS, FTL, and UTF.
- Knowledge of IP, DNS, MAC, HTTP/HTTPS, SNMP, SSH, Telnet, TFTP, and SYSLOG.
- Experience with Docker, Vagrant, QA methodologies, test design, troubleshooting, and end-to-end QA processes.
- Intermediate or higher English required for communication in a multicultural environment.
Nice to have
- Additional scripting languages or test tools beyond Python and the listed frameworks.
- Familiarity with performance, security, or reliability testing practices and tools.
