QA Engineer (AI)

Location: Ukraine, Europe. Hybrid work is available, with the option to work remotely or from the Kyiv coworking hub.

What you will do

• Analyze requirements, business logic, and user flows across Odoo ERP modules and internal automation projects.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing for web applications and platform integrations.
• Design and maintain test plans, test cases, checklists, and other test documentation.
• Build, maintain, and improve automated test coverage where automation provides clear value.
• Investigate defects and edge cases with developers, business stakeholders, and internal client teams, documenting root causes and reliable fixes.
• Improve QA practices and the software development lifecycle, including the use of AI agentic approaches.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on QA experience and ownership of test coverage for a product or system.
• Knowledge of SDLC and functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and risk-based testing methodologies.
• Experience creating and maintaining test cases, checklists, and test plans, including for ERP modules and third-party integrations.
• Hands-on API testing with REST or GraphQL using tools such as Postman, plus an understanding of client-server architecture.
• Basic scripting skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python, and practical experience with test automation frameworks, Git, and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions.
• Upper-Intermediate English, B2+ level, is required for documentation, internal knowledge bases, and cross-office communication.

Nice to have

• ISTQB certification or hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Experience with AI coding and testing assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
• Experience testing LLM-based or agentic AI applications.
• Exposure to SQL, Grafana, or Loki for data validation, monitoring, and debugging.
