What you will do

  • Manage, hire, train, supervise, and mentor Statistical Programming staff.
  • Lead programming activities for complex observational and PASS studies, including analysis datasets, statistical tables, listings, and figures.
  • Develop, test, document, and validate SAS/R programs, macros, tools, and process improvements.
  • Integrate data from multiple studies and Swedish National Registries.
  • Create and review programming specifications, dataset specifications, and related documentation.
  • Coordinate study deliverables, resources, timelines, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Life Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • Fluency in Swedish, spoken and written, is mandatory.
  • At least 6 years of statistical programming experience in register-based research.
  • Advanced SAS and R programming skills and a strong understanding of statistical analysis concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of Swedish National Health Registries and the ability to deliver complex programming outputs accurately.
  • Staff management, leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet tight deadlines.

Nice to have

  • Experience with PASS or real-world evidence studies.
  • Experience with Swedish health registers and national datasets.
  • Experience with SAP localization or Swedish regulatory submissions.
  • Experience integrating large and complex observational or registry datasets.
