Senior Data Scientist

hirify.global is a Swedish game developer creating AAA-quality multiplayer games for PC and console with Unreal Engine.

What you will do

• Translate complex player and business data into actionable insights for product and game decisions.
• Plan and lead data science projects from initial idea through production.
• Design and analyze experiments evaluating gameplay and business initiatives.
• Build, deploy, and maintain machine learning models where appropriate.
• Create dashboards and visualizations that communicate insights clearly.
• Collaborate with design and research teams to guide decisions across the game.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience developing custom data models and algorithms for business challenges using SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience with production data pipelines, ETL frameworks, and automation such as Airflow or Apache Beam.
• University degree in Data Science or a similar field.
• Strong analytical skills and curiosity about complex systems and player behaviour.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain data science problems and insights to non-specialists.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while driving projects to completion.
