Java Developer (with German and English) (Java)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain Java applications and services.
• Implement features based on business and technical requirements.
• Troubleshoot and improve existing solutions.
• Work with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and distributed data-processing tools.
• Support software releases and production systems while ensuring quality, security, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with technical teams in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of professional Java development experience and proven senior-level project experience.
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot or similar frameworks such as Quarkus or Jakarta EE.
• Solid experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Extensive knowledge of Apache Kafka and Kafka Streams, plus practical experience with Apache Spark and/or Apache Flink.
• Knowledge of design patterns, CI/CD, security, SQL, and NoSQL databases.
• German at B2 level and English at C1 level; availability to start on short notice.

Nice to have

• Experience with Big Data and large-scale systems.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages.
• Experience with OpenShift and Azure or other cloud technologies.
• Good knowledge of Windows and Linux environments.
