Malware Analyst (Reverse Engineering)

Location: Hybrid role based in Bratislava, Brno, or Prague

Salary: From €2,500/month gross in Bratislava, plus a performance bonus of up to 10% of the base salary paid twice a year.

hirify.global operates a Security Research Laboratory known as VirusLab, focusing on malware analysis, detection engineering, and threat intelligence across Windows, Linux, macOS, and mobile platforms.

What you will do

• Reverse engineer malware samples and prepare technical reports.
• Track and analyze assigned eCrime malware families and threat landscape areas.
• Maintain and improve detection and analysis capabilities in the in-house Botnet Analyzer platform.
• Develop scripts, custom tools, and automation to improve malware research efficiency.
• Gather and analyze intelligence from internal and open sources.
• Collaborate with industry partners and law enforcement on malware disruption and takedown operations.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of x86/x64 assembly language.
• Experience with IDA Pro, Ghidra, Binary Ninja, or similar reverse-engineering tools.
• Basic understanding of higher-level programming languages such as C#, Java, or C++.
• Strong analytical skills and a systematic approach to problem-solving.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
• Ability to learn, adapt, and solve difficult technical challenges.

Nice to have

• Python scripting experience.
• A relevant university degree.
• Experience with reverse-engineering challenges such as CrackMe.
